Conveniently located in the Town of Banff, just steps away from the glacier-fed Bow River, Banff Park Lodge is a full-service Resort Hotel and Conference Centre. The Banff Park Lodge has two sister properties; the Bow View Lodge and the Homestead Inn.


We are currently seeking one full-time, permanent Overnight Bell Attendant, required to work night shifts (11PM-7AM), weekends and holidays. Wage based on experience. This position is available immediately.


Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensure driveway and entrance are clean and clear of garbage, dirt, snow and ice 
  • Greet guests upon arrival and open doors
  • Control in-coming and out-going traffic 
  • Correctly identify stored bags 
  • Bring baggage up to guests rooms and retrieve them when requested 
  • Deliver packages to guest rooms or respective departments 
  • Take and retrieve luggage carts as required 
  • Park cars and retrieve cars as per request with diligence and care 
  • Work scheduled overnight shifts as required 
  • Knowledgeable of the Hotel, all its outlets, its layout and services 
  • Knowledgeable of Banff National Park, activities and dining options 
  • High standard of customer service 


Ideal Candidate:

  • Has 1 to 2 year previous hotel front desk or reservation experience 
  • Is a capable multi-tasker with a keen attention to detail 
  • Has a professional, yet friendly, personality and demeanor in person and over the telephone 
  • Has excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset as we welcome many international guests 
  • Frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbs 
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license & clean abstract
  • Has experience working with Microsoft Office
