Line Cook

  • Prepare and cook full course meals and individual dishes with modifications as requested

  • Maintain quality and speed of output

  • Prepares each item on menus according to recipes and instruction

  • Follow proper safety, hygiene and sanitation practices

  • Communicate clearly with co-workers and leadership team to ensure a smooth food service operation is achieved

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Adherence to cost control guidelines

- 1-3 years of experience in restaurant kitchen is required - Previous experience in high volume fine dining kitchen an asset - Able to adapt to early morning shift start times - Multi-tasked assignments and work effectively as a team member as well as by themselves - Work well under pressure and challenging situations - Maintaining high standards of productivity and efficiency in the kitchen - Punctual - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use stairs; stools; lift a max. Of 50lbs; able to with stand hot temperatures.
