Some of the Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Negotiates, confirms and arranges group bookings and associated activities.
  • Balances group accounts and confirms payments.
  • Confirms all guest meeting and catering requirements.
  • Communicates with other departments effectively.
  • Manages OTA’s ensuring inventory and rate parity.
  • Supports the front desk with reservation inquiries and completes bookings.
  • Complete all necessary follow-ups from bookings and RFPs.
  • Weekly Reporting of sales activities.
  • Working on the front desk covering the AM shifts when required.
  • Checking in and out guests, receiving payment, and solving guest complaints.
  • Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate well with both internal and external clients.
  • Must have attention to detail.
  • Previous hotel experience is an asset.
  • Experience with sales, marketing, and customer relations, and an office environment is preferred.
  • Shift consists of standing and/or sitting for extensive periods.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills with comfort in being self- directed.
  • Previous knowledge of POS/Room Master/InnQuest an asset.
